67-69 Barracuda Paint Scheme

I have a '67 White Notchback Barracuda...I'm am getting ready to commence on bodywork and paint as early as this summer. I'm wondering what factory paint schemes came on these cars...ie: stipes, two tone, colors...

I would like to paint the car white again but add a factory stripe or some kind of two tone.

If you have any pictures or links I would appreciate having a look.

67 had a stripe down the center of the hood, roof and trunk available.
 
I painted a modified 70-71 hockey stripe on my buddies 67 Notch a few years ago. He added the engine size later. If you follow the body line of the 1/4 panel it looks oem....
 
You can find most of those OEM stipe kits and pictures on ebay most of the time. Good luck

What color is the interior?

You could do the 67 center stripe and paint it a color to match your interior.

White with red stripe looks cool. You could do a low mount 68 stripe.
 
thanks for the replys....I'll checkout the suggestions and see what happens.

I also need to order a passenger side lower quarter repair panel now that I think about it.
 
When I saw this thread and you mentioned two tone this just sprang into my head. White & silver/grey two tone separated by a red pinstripe.
 
I didn't care for the 67 stripe over the top

68 stripe looks good

I kind of like mine, not factory NAPA rattle can and tape in the driveway in 74........hehehe I don't know what the hell I was thinking.

I like the 69 mid-body stripe and that's what I put on my 68 Barracuda. Performance Car Graphics even customized the engine call out for me at no charge.

There is also another stripe option for 69. It goes all the way around the car at the rocker panel level and had two hood stripes in conjunction with the hood scope option. I have been thinking about adding that along the rocker panel with the side stripe.
 
I like that side strip....I just wonder which engine do you pick to have printed. The engine you might have for awhile or the engine you would like to end up with in the future.
 
I built a 360 for it and that's what I have called out on the stripe. Don't have any plans to swap it unless my son can snag a rebuildable 5.7 hemi from the dealership he works at. If that was to happen I would have Performance Car Graphics make me up new front sections.
 
Do you have contact information for Performance Car Graphics?? I think thats the way I'm going to head. Cream white paint with black stripe.

That brings up another good point. I looked up the stock paint 1967 barraucda white color at the local ppg store and they can't get it in Deltron 2000 just omni.

Does anybody have a paint code for ppg deltron 2000... barracuda white. I want base/clear. I'll be using K36 primer.
