67-69 Dart GT Reproduction Dash Bezel vs NOS / OEM

Doe anyone have any first hand experience with mixing NOS dash bezel parts with reproductions?
Black paint the same color?
chrome the same sheen?
texture the same?
fitment?

My radio/heat and glove box are original re-chromed. Somebody scratched up the original re-chromed speedometer. I could not fix so I bought a reproduction instrument cluster and lens. The repo had some strips that were painted with a metallic not chrome finish. I had to paint the other two pieces to match. Looks great.
