67-72 K Frame

I'm pretty sure I have 2 V8 K frames don't know the years. But pretty sure they are 68-72 ones, idler arm is bolt through.

Want to know if there are a 100% interchangeable with my 68 Valiant?

Want to get one sand blasted strengthening up and powered coated and ready to drop in with big brakes sway bar etc..

be careful with 67 ....67 k frame is one year only and the idler arm is also one year only and very hard to find and usually expensive when you do find one.

you are way better off with 68 to 76

73 to 6 is a different mount type but absolutley interchangeable with the corresponding motor mounts

Check them closely. 1 or 2 members have had a complete assembly ready to bolt in only to find the 4 bolt holes don't line up, K member warped or spread or both.

I wouldn't know until I did the swap, which would be to late.

Easy to check for square. The distance from one corner the opposite (farthest hole away) should be the same for each measurement. I can straighten small imperfections fairly easily. Way out of square is a bit more work, but I have done it.

Ya got to post some pics.
Got a few upgrades I want document on here. Got a bunch of boxes sitting here for fuel injection swap, front disk and suspension and new wiring harness, sound system. Got a new rug would also like to do the seats and headliner. Hope to get it on the road this year like to take on the track once with the 2.96 before I go 3.91 to see how much I pick up Only place I can work on it is at my parents and their in the middle of a house and garage remodel.
