So, the car you’re working on is not a 67-69 Cuda by the looks of it. What exactly is it?

Yes some are new. Probably should have bought all new. Layson’s have them in stock. Just didn’t make any sense on installing them not pinching the weld but they are on now. Next is trying to locate the clips for the trim on top of doors and quarter window area as pictured. Need about 10 of them at the minimum.

Yes. Makes no sense. Only part holding in place is the point going through the pinch weld. But it’s on

The screw passes through the hole in the pinch weld, mine actually make contact slightly. The screw attaches to the clip, the clip straddles the hole, the screw passing through the hole in the pinch weld keeps the trim from coming off.

Yep. Ouch. But only place that at least had them otherwise more delays hunting for good used ones
