got the car shell, and a bunch of of boxes with parts. I've almost completed the restoration,up to the interior. I can't seem to figure out how to attach the front seatbelts (bucket seats). i know it should be obvious, but there are no holes where the frame would be,or even in the sheet metal. there are notches by the door rails, which may have had mounting hardware, i'm not sure. any feed back will be appreaciated. Thanks JT

If you are under the car you should see where they are located. They will look like a nut where the bolt goes. Some one hasn't replace the entire floor or something like have they?

Mine are parallel with the back rest of the bucket seats..... between the seats and doors. If you took a level and plumbed it striagte down with the back rest the anchor point would be about a 1 1/2 towards the back.

thanks for the help, but it looks like the car originally came without seatbelts. i'm off to to buy a new drill bit and correct the situation. ThanksJT ](*,)
update: before i drilled new holes, My wife suggested that i move the seat to the extreme front position, and then use your measurements. low and behold there were the seatbelt openings. they were obstructed by the thermo-caustic barrier from the inside, and the underside of the car was treated with anirust spray which covered the openings from underneath. thanks again JT
