67 Barracuda hood hinges

Hello! First timer here. I recently removed my hood hinges to get painted a long with my engine bay. After putting them back on the rear of my hood doesn't sit flat. It sits up about 3 inches. I can push it down but it won't stay. Everything seems to line up so I'm not sure what I'm missing. Thank you to Joeychgo for sending me the info on posting. I was pulling my hair out and thanks to everyone who takes the time to help, Cheers!

If it was all good before it was taken apart, either the hood got warped sometime during this process or they took the hinges apart to paint them and didn't reload the counter spring correctly at reassembly.
