67 barracuda steering/suspension Q's

Can anyone tell me if a 66 barracuda column will work in a 67 barracuda?
Are they the same? OR if different why?


Also i have an 8 3/4 out of a 70 dart,is it a direct bolt-in on a 67 barracuda or will the spring have to be in/out?

The 8-3/4 is a direct fit bolt-in. The column might be........

The main difference in the columns might be the flex coupling design.
I have a feeling there are too many differences to overcome. I've never heard of anyone using even the upper bells from early A in second gen' A.
Good luck though.
By the way... you'll need a drive shaft length change with the 8.75 rear. Maybe a U joint that has 2 sizes of caps.
