I powered up the Barracuda with a battery for the first time since I owned it earlier this week. I would consider it a resto-mod type of restoration of which it’s 85% complete.

The turn signals in the grill are turning on and staying on anytime I connect the battery. The wire harness is original to the car, the headlight switch is new, the steering column is not yet installed.

Looking for ideas on where to start, my hunch is the headlight switch but.....

Any ideas would be appreciated
Jim

Are you sure the headlight switch isn't in the parking lamp position? It has two stops when you pull it out. If it's faulty, then that's where the problem is -- between the inner stop and the off position.

If you haven't installed the steering column, then what is the state of the turn signal switch? Make sure the wires aren't shorting somewhere.

Figured it out, the hazard switch was in the up position. Thanks for the reply.

That said does anybody sell the column turn signal arm? I see mine has been removed or broken off.
