hi just looking for sum info on what i should do with the rear quarters on my cuda i think i am going to buy the full skins ? because no one makes patch panel for back quarters?? on my 67 cuda. but just was thinking of using sections of new skin for patch panels instead of changing the whole skin because new skins r kinda not as strong as original metal . is that a good idea??

As long as all the rust is cut out it should be fine as long s it is smooth and filler is at a minimum. Only replace what needs to be replaced but I wouldn't skimp on removing rusted portion.

no all rust cut out! and section of new skins going to be welded in !just want to keep as much original metal as possible ???

That's the most widely accepted way of doing it rt, just use as much new metal as you need and keep as much of the original metal as possible. You're definitely on the right track. :)

is it bad to just install the new qt about as big as you can, wouldnt this make it all new metal so you wouldnt get any new suprises in like say a part where there is old metal and it started to rust?
