The other day I noticed a clunk when applying the brakes while moving forward slowly.

Front suspension is mostly OE (52 years old) Upper ball joints replaced less than 1 year ago., Tie rod ends replaced in last 10 years, idler arm replaced 1 year ago. (Front suspension needs a rebuild)
Car drives straight,

I haven't looked into it yet, just wondering if it is a common issue others have encountered.
  • Clunk seems to be coming from right front
  • Can be felt in pedal
  • Can be felt in body
  • Can be heard
  • Only happens moving forward
  • Not noticeable at speeds
Things I will be checking
  • Exact location of noise
  • Supporting front suspension and trying to duplicate
  • Hanging front suspension and trying to duplicate.
