'68 4-speed cam?

I went to the comp 268 a few months back. Wound up with a tap and posted here for help. Turns out the stock rockers were at the limit with a .480 lift. Switched to pro mag rockers. The comp 901 springs are not rated that much higher than the stock units, but remember the stock units have many, many cycles on them. They made a difference you could feel at higher RPM.
 
Thanks to all. One more direction to take this; does anyone know if any magazine ever tested or compared a '68 340 4-speed car to it's auto counterpart? Too bad the 340 never really got the respect it was due...............
 
I know there's an old vintage road test video on youtube where they compare 2 340 darts, one auto one stick. According to them the 4-speed was noticeably faster.
