I have for sale a 68-69 Dana 60 B-body rear housing with the 4-series Dana Powr-Lok carrier set up with 5.13 Dana gears. It’s got the ring gear spacer plate to make it work. Based on the BOM (Bill of Materials) 602957-2 code stamped on the axle tube this is an original 68-69 B-body housing that had the 3.54 gear ratio when new. This setup includes the loaded backing plates with 11X2 ½’” brakes and the drums, all in excellent shape. The flange to flange width is 55” but the spring perches were relocated and now measure 46.75” instead of the factory 44” width so the perches would have to be relocated to the factory width. This housing was actually in a 58 Corvette so the brake drums have a 5x4 ¾ BP along with the factory 5x4 ½ BP. The axles are 23 spline units to fit the carrier for the 68-69 parts and have been redrilled for the Chevy 5x4 ¾ BP with ½ - 20 x 1 1/8” long screw in studs. Unfortunately, the factory 4 ½” BP axles stud holes have been welded over. In addition, a fluid drain plug was drilled, taped and installed at the bottom of the center section like the 1970 version housings. The date code on the ring and pinion is 1/27/70 while the date code on the carrier is 4/1/68. A chrome cover is also included as seen in the pics. I would like to get $1200.00 for everything plus the shipping. Shipping would be done via truck freight. Depending on location, I can meet part way or deliver it for the price of gas and any tolls.
