I have a set of used 340 standard bore, Venolia forged aluminum pistons that are in excellent shape. They are for the higher compression 68-71 version of the 340. These pistons use a dykes top ring, 1/16” second rings and 3/16” oil rings and use double spirolox for each end of the pins that are included. The piston and locks weigh in at 514 grams and the pin weighs 134 grams for a total of 648 grams. The pin has a .925” diameter and are the thin wall design. The skirts look great and only show normal wear. I’d like to get $150 plus the shipping for the set.

Interested, how do these compare to a stock weight piston?

Just saw the pin size, so these will require aftermarket/custom rods?

Thanks

* 273 (2-Barrel).........530 Grams
* 273 'Commando'......569 Grams
* 318......................592 Grams
* 340......................719 Grams
* 360......................584 Grams

and those weights do not include the pin..which is usually around 160 grams.

Thanks, that helps, these will not work for me in this application due to the pin size.

Thanks

You can rebush the small end of the rod to accomodate the .925" pin diameter. Ive done that before.
