Just wanting to see if anyone has any information on my 68 Dart GTS. VIN LS23P8E103518. the story I've heard is just that it was used as a parts car in the Phoenix area in the 80s. I have no fender tag or broadcast sheet for it. The original engine and transmission are long gone. I know it's a long shot, but any information would be awesome! Thanks!

Have you checked the GTS registry

There are 4 listed but without any additional info about your car like original color, options.

You could contact the site owner with your info and maybe he can match it up.

I bought a Y-2 yellow ‘68 Dart GT in Phoenix when I went to school there in 1987. Previous owner told me the driveline was transplanted out of a 340 car. 340, 727, 8 3/4 w/ 3.91 SG. Might have came out of your car…
Sold it before I left. :(

Just remembered, I still have the front plate I removed for a “Dodge” plate.
Good luck with your search…

My car has been on there for a long time, it's actually number 141. No one send to know much about it, but I figured this was probably the best place to ask.

That's a huge possibility! I have a feeling though that the original engine was blown up, which is why it became a parts car. I have a plate that came on the car (original or not, no idea) that had a sticker from 84 on it as the last registration date. Can't read it real well but it's RSE-993. The other picture is what the car looked like when we got it in the late 90s. Thanks for all the replies!
