sticker shock at first but the more I think about it .....that might be worth it. By the time you send one off to be re-done to match a fresh painted car.

there is something to be said about new parts. The price seems outrageous at first especially when I have paid that for whole cars ....but really on the big scheme of things, that is not really that much money when only perfection will suffice.

I have a pile of originals and there is at least two things wrong with each one...so good to know I have options here.

The one on my daily driver is buggered up in front of the hood latch......probably because the hood latch requires that magic jolt in a certain way that only I know how to do to release #-o
 
Definitely worth it for a super nice car, I just meant alot of people who would love one probably dont have that kind of scratch. Looking at close up pics, brand new is beautiful, isnt it? Im just gonna refinish one of the ones I have I guess.
