68 Valiant Parking Lights

When parking lights are ON all is Ok, the side marker lights are ON, the front parking lights are ON and the rear parking lights are ON. When the head lights are ON, the front parking lights go OUT but the side marker lights remain ON, as well as the rear parking lights. Is this normal? Or is the head light switch bad or what? Ron

Normal. Not sure why this is, maybe they figured you didn't need small orange lights when the big white ones were on.
