Who makes a forged piston in a stock '69 340 configuration? 4.040" bore, 10.5 or higher compression with the stock design heads, 2 valve reliefs, 1.840" pin height? I can't find any in any catalogs. Thanks!
Look for a L2316F piston...old TRW or now Speed Pro part number...

i have never in my life seen a small block mopar head cc as large as 75 ccs. All the ones i've seen are down around 70 give or take and i've measured a boatload of them. At 68ccs with the thin head gasket with the l2316 you get 10.2:1 just like it came from the factory.
What do you guys think of the SRP pistons? They make a .030 and a .040

Correct. I was just asking in general for an off the shelf piece. I have these in my 70 340 and was curious of opinion on these.Any piston manufacturer will make a you piston for 340 4.04 bore with the compression height you want....
