'69 A body head rests

How do the bench and bucket seat headrests differ...or do they.
...i have '69 buckets and want to change to a front bench,can i use my bucket seat headrests in a
'69 bench?

I asked the same question to a vendor at a show last summer. The answer I got was, and I may have this backwards (check into it) The chrome "pegs" that go into the seat, one in longer on a Bucket seat, a bench seat has both "pegs" the same length. Again, I could have this backwards, bench -bucket but that was the difference. Make no sense to me why it would matter...but... If someone else has more info on this I would like to hear it as well

Interesting...i wonder if i can stick my bucket seat headrests in a bench?

I have wondered about that myself. There are notches on the Pegs that go into the seat, they are in a different spot on the two types of head rests. Really, I am not sure why they would have made them different? Should work, try it , let us know. Just curious, I wonder if the pegs are also spread apart further on one or the other as well? Hummm.

tx Mark,i don't have a bench yet but i really don't like bucket seats.
surely somebody has a little more info on these...
