69 Barracuda backup light bezel paint

The 67 and 69 Barracuda backup light bezels have a ring of black paint, about 1/4" wide, around the lens.
Was this paint gloss, flat, or satin from the factory?

Just checked mine and it's flat.This line continues on the tail panel ,right?8)

No, you're thinking of 68's, where the backup lights are in the taillight housings. On 67's and 69's, the backup lights are in round, cone shaped bezels under the bumper.

I found another old pair of bezels and cleaned off the paint, sanded a bit and buffed.
It appears to be somewhere around semi-flat, so that's what I went with.

Is that a formula S thing ? My 69 has no black ring on either the old pitted ones or the replacement pair I scored . Are we talking about the tall or short bezels I have the Tall ones ?
