Fastback door glass parts......Ok....we've bought a kit that dosen't have the piece that goes in the rivet like in this picture(light blue piece that shoves inside the rivit).....the passenger door doesn't have one either....but it sure seems like they need them. They move alot and the newer parts just come out.

Also the black roller that goes back in forth in the metal holder how does it come off to replace it?

Thanks for the help folks.

Some vendor sells that plastic rivet alone at some price. A short piece of 1/4 fuel hose along with a 4-20 X 1 bolt and nyloc nut will serve the same purpose.

If you notice the kits don't have the piece that slides into the rivet. That's the exact same kit that I have already.

Guess some do  and some don't :BangHead:

ok..........ok............ok............i'm an idiot.....lol

I could tell that the orginals were two piece....I didn't realize that the new ones are two piece also...wow...sorry guys.....

Now...I'm still wondering how to get that wheel off.

My rollers were fine and care saved the push pin retainers for re-use.

Those gaskets in the kits shown do not look like they wrap under the glass though like the originals! (Maybe just the picture). If so it may be a point of future rattle? I made my own from thin stock to match the originals. Not sure how but seems the roller is press fit or there is a small wire retainer that keeps it.
