I've been saving this 69 Dart GT "Triple R6 Red" for the last year & a half because its a pretty rare deal. But to be honest with all the customer restoration jobs scheduled in for the next two years, its not likely I'll be able to get to it anytime soon.
As per the original build sheet which denotes this GT as being as I said a triple R6 car, it also states the GT as being originally optioned with a "P6R"
bucket seat hounds tooth interior with console & floor shifter.
When I say triple Red, I'm referring to R6 lower body, R6 interior & R6 painted steel wheels with dog dish caps, also pretty rare on a GT car.
Originally had a 1X Black vinyl roof.
Some other options per the build sheet is, the GT option naturally, power steering, Am radio, bumper guards, wheel lip moldings.
The 318-2V engine, A904 & 7-1/4 open rear are all original to the GT. I purchased the GT when the pervious owner became ill while in the process of doing a valve job. The heads have been reconditioned, bolted on & that's where things stopped. Basically the engine is all back together except the radiator, belts, hoses. I was told the engine run good until it
burned an exhaust valve.
As for the body, both quarter panels will need to be fixed or replaced. Both fenders need work on the bottoms. The door are very,very good - as is the hood & trunk. All the glass is good & roll up & down just fine.
The floors are very solid with the exception of the drivers floor pan, which
"Is Not" beyond repair. Same goes for the trunk. Frame rails are very nice & it doesn't look like it was ever involed in an accident.
I have 98% of the GT trim for the sides, only missing the end of one spear.
The rear finish panel is missing, as it was stolen by some low life. I do have the headlight bezels, no spare or jack.
Please "Do Not" ask me to part the Old Gal out, not going to happen. I'll save it until someone decided they want it. Unfortunately I have miss placed the title work, so it will be sold with a "Notarized Bill of Sale Only" the build sheet & fender tag.
For $3,500.00 I will include the "4" small bolt Rally wheels which are in good condition & "4" Cooper Cobra RWL radial tires which have less then 500 miles on them that are seen in the pictures.
Personal & 3rd party inspections are welcome & I do have a lift available for undercarriage viewing. More pictures are available upon request if you supply me with an email. Interested parties please feel free to PM Dan & I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
