69 dart roof

hey guys

just cleaned all the rust and fix holes, have lot of pits and i welded all the holes. i think iam ready for the filler what type should i you since they are so many out there i dont know what to buy? thanks

You must have had a vinyl roof. Bought a 69 Charger back in 86 that had the vinyl roof removed with the resulting rust holes especially along the seamed area. I carefully sandblasted the roof and used Tiger Hair (filler with fiberglass strands in it) to fill the holes. Sanded it smooth, primed it and a couple coats of original color cream and it was done. Parted it out a few years later due to other serious rust issues but the roof was still holding together with no problems. I recommend the Tiger Hair or its equivalent.
