I just wanna slap new seals in it and possibly new bearings if it needs. Do the gears look ok? And i assume someone can tell me what all the castings mean?

Looks stock, original parts
Wear pattern on the pinion and gears looks normal

Any excessive play in the gears or bearings?

Not that i noticed but i didnt look too hard yet. Just drained it this morning.

It's amazing how these little cars can last. I serviced the 7.25 in Vixen a while back and she had very little wear and the wear pattern was perfect. She's 59 years old. These cars nowadays will never make that.

I know right, working on new cars is the worst too, and its so often cause they break.
