7.25 to 8.25

I'm doing the same switch as previous post 7.25 to 8.25 in 65 Dart. Just got the emergency brakes un-hooked from brakes almost ready to go. Any tricks or something I can do that makes it easier or just unhook the brake lines, shocks, U bolts drop leaf springs and go? By the way un-hooking the E brakes was a real pain in the ***!!! :banghead:

I'd just unbolt the brake hose at the body, pull the u-bolts and shocks, and drop the rear shackle mounts at the body. Should basically fly apart.

Use an impact gun!

if your U bolts are in the same shape as mine were, you may want to use a cut off wheel to remove them...a whole lot quicker then a impact and most likely the same result

as for the E brakes, ive been told you can put a socket on there and pop it loose
but I think I used pliers (and it was indeed a pain)
