This is a nice original set of '70-71 340 HP valve covers. A couple of little dents but no rust or corrosion issues. These are really getting hard to find, and when you do find them they are not as nice as these!

$325.00 plus shipping from 55092

Thanks,

How are these different from the 70-71 340 non-HP valve covers? How many types of 340 valve covers were there in 70-71?

Passenger side heat shield and driver side wire loom is taller for four barrel provisions

You could get a 340 two barrel?

Shouldn’t the ad be for 70-71 340 valve covers? If it was a 2 barrel, they would be 70-71 318 valve covers? What’s the significance of the ‘HP’??

No 2 barrel 340's.

I'm trying to tell you the taller wire loom is for the four barrel

Shorter ones are for the two barrel...only 340's and 273 hp...got the wiring harness heat shield...these covers are correct!!!

Guys all 70-71 340's were HP motors.
Correct. Merely stating they are 340 valve covers says it all. No need to also say ‘HP’ beside 340. To say 340 HP valve covers is a bit like saying ‘wet water’. Also, to the uninformed, a buyer might pay more for a set of ‘340 HP’ 70-71 valve covers compared to ‘340’ 70-71 valve covers when there is no difference.
