70 a body radio question

I have a 70 340 swinger when I bought the car it came with 2 instrument panels one is cut and had a aftermarket radio i believe its the original (wood grain) The other is uncut but has the round holes for the radio knobs (no wood grain). Did all 70 darts come with thumb wheels or is possible it had knobs?

All 70 Dart 340 cars had a thumbwheel radio with the rallye dash. 71 had a knob style radio, our 70 318 Dart also has a knob style radio.

my 70 had thumb wheels. think it was 72 or 3 that they went to knobs

The round knobs were never discontinued completely. The thumb wheel came here and there starting in 68 and ending in 71. A 70 model could have had either.

All the pictures of the 70 rally dashes seem to have thumb wheels, I think 340 sedan is right. Thanks again this site saves a lot of time.
