How do you remove the head rests out of a 70 Dart bench seat?

I am not sure I tried this too, there must be a trick to it. I am not using them just want to remove the good head rests from my oparts car to sell.

i have tried to do this as well and can't figure it out. i guessit is something inside the seat that locks them in. i will get mine out when i have the seats recovered i guess...........

As mentioned, "just" pull up on them and they come out. :cussing:
Or, failing that, you can do as I did on one car. Sit in the back seat, stick a 4' long 2"x6" under the headrest, resting the end on the inflated tire and wheel you previously sat in the front seat. Then pry up using the 2"x6" for leverage. The headrest will come out! :toothy7: :thumbup:
