I have a drive shaft that came out of a 70 Dart swinger with a 318 /904. It already has brand new U-joints installed. It has been sitting in the corner for a bit. It has alot of dust on it. I would like 75.00 for it plus shipping. The part is located in Fredericksburg Va 22408

what rear was in with this, as i need a d.shaft for a 340 four speed with a 8.75. i was told that a car with 904 and 8.75 would be the same length. if it is a 8.75, i am wanting it if i can get a def answer from someone. thanks
 
Hmm you know I cant remember. I believe it was the 7 1/4. If you can get a measurement I will measure it for you.
 
someone told me it was like 51 3/4 or something........ ill get back to you asap
 
JFYI I used a 73 Dart Swinger 318/904/7 1/4 d.shaft when swapping to 360/904/8 3/4 in my 66 Dart Early-A.It was a direct bolt in.(other than swapping to 7290 U-joints)Maybe this will help the sale of your d.shaft to someone doing a V8 swap in an Early-A?Good luck with the sale.
 
Ok this is what I have. It is 51 1/2 inches. This is just the center part no yokes included in the measurement
 
i now need to find out if the 7 1/4 uses the same bearing size, or can i swap them? easily
 
are you able to get a pic of the whole thing? i wanted to see if the back end near the back, to see if it gets narrower. sorry for the hassle
 
yea, i do not think that one will work, as all the 4-speed ones have a same diameter from front to back.....? i think as i have been told
 
Ok well let me know if you need it. I need a good driver door for my 72 Demon. Needs to have no bondo , rust or dents. Be willing to trade some stuff for it.
 
ohhhhhhhh, how bout a nicce door off of a 72 dart, that has no rust, dents or bondo??????? make some kind of deal on the shroud and d.s? lol
 
Not sure if a dart door will work. Doesnt that have a wing window and what not in it?
 
Deal is possible if the door works. Does anyone know if a 72 Dart door will work on a 72 Demon?
