70 Duster- Correct speedometer cable

I have a 70 Duster that needs a new speedo cable. Most cables seem to have a 5/8" connector at the transmission, but I have three small block trannys in my garage and all three measure 7/8".

Is that cable somewhere around 65" in length?

Interesting. I bought one for my 68 Dart but haven'y installed yet. When I looked at it I thought the tranny end looked small. Guess we'll find out together on this one. Unless I get off my *** and check !

Just found this. We may have wrong part. I wonder if they sell the end fitting that can be cut and re-crimped?

yes 7/8 is correct, and the push clip style at the top (white connector) for some reason most listings are not correct. I got the correct one from vans auto. Swingn’
