Is the actually dash frame the same on a rallye gauge car and a non rallye? My dash was cut/hacked up near heater controls. I have another dash frame, don't want to transfer the tag so I may try and weld the original up.

Pictures would be helpful.

Thanks in advance.

they are substantially different, but you can cut a standard to receive a rallye

Thanks guys. Learn something everyday. Thought my rally dash was hacked but it's not.

Car is a project but super, super solid. Just need to replace trunk pan as someone cut a big square in the original for a fuel cell back in the day. '71 Demon numbers 340-4 speed. FC7 and coded for side and rear stripes in white. Bench seat car and coded for dual hood, wing and 3.91 rear. She's all there. Going to start messing with it soon.

Guy actually welded up the original hoods two scoop holes and took the underside skin off to save weight I guess ( raced the car ). That and the hokey scoop........LOL
