hey guys, im converting my 71 dodge demon 6cyl. with auto tranny to a 340 4 speed car and have a couple of questions reguarding the 340 engine.
1. Who makes the better engine mount swap kit from 6cyl. to V8?
2. the AVS carb for the 340 is a #4401 for a auto trans. is there any difference between the carb for the auto trans and the carb for the manual trans?
3. And also any suggestions on cam?

Thanks for the input and advice.

biggest dif is the manual had the dashpot thats often missing on it. heres one on my 68 383 RR

I have personally used this kit and it works just fine for '67-'72 k frames!

Good lead but why do they only list up to 1972 ????????

Because the '73-'76 k frames and motor mounts changed to a different style.
The '67-'72 were a block/rectangular style mount while the '73-'76 are a cylindrical style mount; not interchangeable.

The above mount kit is much easier that going through the hassle of changing
the k frame and having to take much of the front suspension loose and removal of the steering box. Save yourself a lot of time!

I didn't realize there was a difference in mounts on /6's I've only been around later model slants
