71 Scamp Quarter Window Skips

Im reassembling my car and went to roll up the drivers side quarter window. As I started cranking its like the handle skipped a tooth. It did this a few more times on the way up. It does not do it when I roll it down. What is causing this and how can it be fixed. Thanks

It sounds like there may be some bad teeth on the regulator. If your panel is off check the teeth condition. If you need to replace it let me know i have some good used ones

One of the other things I notice is that the window does not roll up correctly. I have to pull forward (front of the car) to get the window to straighten out. Of course I didnt notice this until I put the new fuzzies on and the extra tight fit is when this started to happen. The interior is all back together but it will have to come out so that I can fix this.
