72 360 Magnum Duster

Well, it's been a year since I got the car. It's running and driving but definitely not finished. My plan is to have a car that I drive, not a show car. But I do want it to look good.

360 Magnum, 518A transmission, Sniper2 EFI, hyper spark ignition, Doug's headers, power steering and Vintage Air AC.

Next is starting the body work. This will be my first time so I have a lot to learn. I've been watching LOTS of you tube videos, now I'm really confused.

I'd really like a Satin black car but from what I've read it can be a risky direction. Lots of things to consider with a satin black finish.

I've attached some pictures and would appreciate any input on the paint finish.

I had a black 71 Cuda, second car I ever had that was black, black as a crow's ***, perfect straight,,, i could wash it and 5 seconds later it had a layer of dust. I hate black.
If you are starting out in body/paint you might consider white not black. Black will show ever tiny flaw.

Nice car! Just spend the time / money to get the body straight and the paint will always look nice.
