Hey Guys -
My 72 Dart Custom only has 58k miles on it (bought it a couple months back with 55k), and as is the case with cars that sit a lot, it's got some rust in the tank, and it's still spitting it out. I'm getting ready to rebuild the carb, and don't want to do it while the tank is still crapping rust.
Cost from a local place that refinishes them is $125 to line it, but they say it can take up to *TWO WEEKS*, due to drying times.
This is my daily driver, so I can't have it down for 2 weeks.
Best price I've seen on a new tank is on fleabay is about $159 for a Canadian made tank.
I'm looking for a very good used one (absolutely no rust inside or out), or a new one, or I'm open to suggestions.
