72 Demon stock weight ?

Hi guys , my friend justy got a 72 Demon for a good price and is alredy thinking in testing the car at the track before making motor ,transmision ,rear upgrades .

I dont know nothing about Mopar motors but I really like this cars looks and motor sounds.
He told me he also got a 400 motor with a 927 transmision to upgrade it .

It really a 400 , how to tell ?

What engine is in it now?

A 400 isn't really an upgrade from anything.
 
The car got a 318 motor now , the 400 is no upgrade ?
how much they weight ?

I did a search and this car came with a 6 inline original motor ,the last owner did the upgrade my friend just want to race this car and little street cruises .
 
Wow that Demon really look heavier than that . I just call him and he said this can't be because the door got the label with 4200gvwr ,LOL .

I try to explain that his is not the real weight is the total passenger and cargo weight ,LOL , he said it got to be heavier than my GMC SPRINT .
