Building my first a body,and its a race/street car. Installed a 440 at about 450hp. Need some assistance from someone with past experience with a body.(i have always worked with e bodys) went with a motor plate not knowing the complication involved. Where i am at now is i am at the altenator stage. Now i am a fabiricator by trade, so i am handy. I am told to go with a gm style mini altenator. All i can find is a 70 amp- single wire. .can anyone aknowledge i am on the right path? Also i have tti headers with the 440 and there is very little clearence for plug wires. Can anyone reccomend a certain brand or style? This little devil of a car has been fighting me for 2 years.i need to complete it so i can take some of this anger out on it.
