I honestly don’t know, I’m not familiar with what used Cummins turbos go for. A Chineseium VS racing 78/75 can be had for $40 more and people go 8’s with that turbo. Not sure what your overall goal is.Any idea if $350 cdn is a fair price?
I’d love to hear how your combo does with an s480.
As for that Wh1c, it would be a good turbo for a 4 cylinder. Don’t buy it.
Thanks turbovan!Glad you made it out to the track! What gears are in your car? Are those untouched magnum heads(besides valve train)?
Thanks turbovan!
3:23 gears 275/60/15 drag radials and heads are gasket matched to the intake. Has cometic headgaskets.
While I have improved the 60ft quite a bit by experimenting with launch RPM, I’m gonna install a 2 step and see if we can improve. I feel confident the converter is holding me back. It’s a ACC boss Hogg 3200.
Rear shocks are some old MP drag shocks for super stock springs. I’m sure there are better offerings now. I have some 90/10 Lakewood shocks for the front that a friend gave me of his car that I haven’t installed yet. What are you running for rear shocks? I imagine a 2 step should get you full boost at your launch rpm(built into the super sniper you talked about!). Does the converter stall at 3200 NA, or is that with boost?
I’m still hoping you go the s480 route at some point!
I can see it and a couple other members have seen itCan’t see nothin.
