72 duster quarter window help please

My 1972 duster is a racecar guy before me put lexan in instead of glass. I took the lexan out and need to put the glass in the chrome trim and gaskets all are there I bought anothrr set that I want to take the glass out of this one and put the glass into my existing chrome trim and housing thats still in the car. The one I have now looks like in the trim the glass has holes driilled inyo it to keep the glass there

as I recall once you remove the window /frame assy. from the car, the leading edge of the glass slides out and has a plastic strip wrapped around the edge of the glass and it slides into the window frame. Do you have your frames removed from the car?

The race car still has the assembly in the car less lexan. I bought another assembly I want to take the glass out of and put into assembly of the racecar

Assembly still has to be removed. The frames are riveted together.

i gave up and put the ones from the yard in, dont look to bad
