72 front fender brace

A quick question on a 72 front fender brace length.

The ones I have are 12" overall length.
I am assembling it and the right fender is sucked in too far, I am wondering if there are different lengths? It is sucked in about an 1" too much. I can see moving it in a small amount, but looks to be way far off.

Just did the left side and the brace was a lot closer, only had to move the fender in about 3/16th. Now I am wondering if there is something wrong on the right side.

in the pic , it looks pulled out !! I`d hook it up and fagitaboutit

If you pull it in and bolt it does it look like the other side? put a tire on the car and move it to the closest point tot the fender while turning and see if the clearance is close to thee same on both sides.

Just did the braces on my 73 Sport project. Both braces had to be pulled in about 3/4 inch. One fender is stock, the other came from a donor.
