727 fresh rebuild slipping in drive

Hello all, I hope you guys can help me with my trans problem. I just rebuild my 727 for my 71 340 duster. When I put it back in the car reverse works fine but in drive it slips like crazy and doesn't fully engage. I used a B&M transpack rebuild kit and built it following the race instructions. I also used a 66 kick down piston because the instructions said they are better than the 71 controlled load piston. Also I did have some problems getting the pump in the trans it seemed to be catching but then with some guide bolts it went if fine. Any help would be great.

..................U may have broke 1 or both of the sealing rings on the pump, or damaged a lip seal in the front drum...........kim.........

You can drop the valve body and do some air pressure checks to see where the problem is. If you need a chart of where to inject air pressure PM me with your e-mail and I'll send it to you.

Do all forward gears slip?

I don't know it slips so bad I haven't tried to get it to where it will shift
