727 or 904

How do I know by looking at my transmission if I have 904 or 727. It's in a 65 not sure if it is original or not, but I need to buy a kick down cable and need to figure out which one I have.

A 904 pan will be more squarish without the extra protrusion on the front passenger side.

It's a 904, which is what I thought.

If you are going to order a "Lokar kick down cable", there is no physical differance between the 904 and 727 cable assy's. They come with different P/Ns on the blister pack,and the same installation instructions. I ordered one for my 904 and it was drop shipped from "Lokar" and it came in the 727 P/N, so I called "Lokar" when I recieved it and,That is what the tech guy told me.
