Hello, thanks for the add!!! I do have a question though. I just purchased a 1984 dodge d250 long rd,318 with a 727 transmission. In a nut shell: bought truck was told it’s stuck in first gear. When I test it this is what it does. In drive it doesn’t seem to shift from first to second if I let off the gas it still doesn’t shift but seems like it’s slipping when I go back to acceleration and if I put the shift lever down to 1 it shifts down and feels like it’s not slipping but when I shift back to drive it still won’t shift to 2 gear. Reverse,neutral and park are fine. I’ve been researching a lot of info and I’m leaning towards hydrologic problem or lockdown band. What’s everyone’s thoughts.
