'73-'76 Dart Fenders on a '67??

Has anybody tried putting the later year fenders ('73-'76) on an earlier Dart('67-'69) & making them look correct? I know there are the obvious differences with the marker lights, but they look very similar to their earlier counterparts, so I was wondering if they could be used on my '67. Does anybody know if the earlier headlight bezels & bucket would work, or is this a total no go? I want a stock appearance when done. There are so many more of the later fenders avaiable in my area & cost less.:violent1:

I parted out a 1967 dart that had 1973 fenders on it. The 67 grille, headights and headlight bezels all fit well.

I would give it a try.

My 67 Dart came with 73 up doors and fenders. No vents in the windows and the fenders seem fine. You will have to play with the headlight pots possibly but other than the marker lights..they are the same..67 to 70 and 73 to 76..I believe 71 and 72 had the fender ext. ?
