friend of mine has a 73 340 4 speed power stering dart sport,,has been sitting since the 80;s,,,had rusted side pipes and headers,,,the rusted headers fit great,he says the tubes even went over the drag link,,make of old headers unknown,,,he bought a new set,,he doesnt know the make,,,they dont fit to good,, looks like they hit in several places,,power steering box for one,,and says the drag link goes thur the headers,,,this car is a driver,,,,
any one know a set or make of headers that will fit a 73 dart sport,, that will fit correctly,,with out denting,,,chopping,,,fileing,,,,etc,,thans,,,

tti brand will be the best fit as I've used them. Doug's also makes a good header but their part # d 453 is only listed up to '72 and I'm not sure why they would'nt fit a '73 other than the spool type motor mounts that first showed up on the '73 models. I've tried to get an answer from the company but no responce from them.

Heddman makes headers that will fit, actually fairly well. They also offer 2 different headers one with a 2 1/2" collector for slightly more ground clearance and a regular 3" collector style. Both fit A bodies 67-76. The "tight tube set" shouldn't require any mods to the shift linkage where as the 3" collector set will, just make sure to read all the footnotes regarding both sets before making a choice. http://www.hedman.com/pages/hedmanmain.html
