I did some major body repair on a 73 340 duster for my cousin & her husband & now its paint time. Its going to be sassy grass green w/ black hood, cowl, top of doors & quarters, & side stripes. They want every thing gloss. I also talked them into making the bottom stripe gray. What i did is i sprayed the black, put the stripe mask on. Then sprayed the gray on. Then put that part of the stripe paint mask on. Taped all the black up then sprayed the green on. Then next morning ill take the all the paint mask off & untape the all the black. Then ill spray 4 coats of clear on. After that sets up ill block sand it w/ 800 grit. Then spray 3 more coats of clear. Then wet sand & buff.
