Did Plymouth paint the inside of the 73 Dusters trunks the body color still? I'm trying to figure out what is going on with my trunk. Car was red from factory, but every where in the truck is black. It looks factory to me.

I had a 74 Duster that was Tahitian Gold Poly in the trunk, just like the rest of the car.
I thought so. Someone must have stripped it down at some point in its life and painted it black.
It'll be color soon enough!
All Mopars had the engine bay and trunk painted body color. 30+ yrs later that’s a good thing since it shows when someone has done a ‘quick’ restoration by spray bombing the engine bay and/or trunk black!
