My friend has a 73 Dart Sport. There is a /6 '73 Scamp for sale locally.

How much of the front end sheetmetal will interchange between the Scamp and DS? The goal is to salvage any front end collision parts such as grilles, sheet metal, bumpers, etc.

Will the doors interchange?

After we take off what we want for the DS, what other parts may be desireable to others?

I do not know if the car has disc brakes. I do know it does not have power brakes. It is an A/C car.

We're trying to determine if it is worth buying for parts and if can we sell what we don't want when were done.

Thanks in advance for any info.

I think you are going to find that not much from the Dart Sport is going to fit the Scamp. You would be better off to find a Dart. The Dart Sport, after the Demon, was the Dodge equivalent of a Duster... both being fastbacks and both having different front ends from a Dart/Scamp. Also the Dart Sport will have quite a bit different sheet metal even from a duster. Fenders may be the only useful part from a Dart Sport to a Duster but I think there is also an issue with the front clip assemblies from one to the other. Only true interchangeables between the two might be drivelines, some interior stuff, and accessories.

The whole front clip will bolt on but you will end up with a Dart /Scamp. You must use the fenders, hood, grille and front bumper.
The doors are the same.
From the looks of the Scamp it is WAY TOO NICE to mess up or part out. Buy it and do a V8 and disc brake swap and you will end up with a sweet ride.

Thanks for all the help and info.

We're passing on it. It's in western Iowa in case anyone is interested.

I agree with the front clip matchup. The doors themselves will interchange, but the glass is different. The intersection of the A-post and the roof is a sharp angle on the hardtops, a gentle curve on the sport coupes. You may also want to check the front wheel opening shapes. They are different between the 71-72 Demon and Duster

If the scamp gets parted out can you grab the front armrests for me?! That baby turd brown color is getting hard to find.
