74 Duster Headliner

I have done a frame off restoration of a '74 Duster. Question the headliner- is the back of the headliner near the rear window - tucked under the rear window seal or butt up against it? I've replaced the healiner but sticking it under the real rubber seal - really looks "unfinished". Any ideas?

The replacement headliner was from legendary and it is a hard plastic shell with a cloth cover.

I think I tucked mine under the seal as well, and I wasn't thrilled with the look of it. Of course on top of, or butted up to, didn't look much better. I don't recall, or didn't notice how it was in originally before I took it out.

Yeah that's what I'm afraid of. I think originally it was tucked under. With the somewhat hard plastic shell, the rubber seal tends to stand up a bit.
