Well it's been a while since I posted progress pictures But the wife was out of town all week so I had some time to make some progress this week.

Shaved the door handles, emblems, side markers, and trunk lock.

Took all the 4 paint jobs off of the passenger fender and door by hand (yeah I feel like I flew to denver using my own arms) Todd and Josh I thank you for the help there.

Started fitting the 72 bumper (gonna fab brackets and tail light buckets) and got a decent 72 hood (Thanks Chris)

Should have my fender extensions and trans hump this week and I'm going to get my grille and filler panel tonight so the 72 transformation will only be missing a front bumper and rear lower valance.

Oh and we found a nice little section of Bondo on the passenger rear quarter that was hiding a boot print in the sheet metal and the great bondini must have put it there cause you would have never known there was bondo there considering a magnet stuck to it.

I'm using chemical stripper to do the door jambs and hinges and that stuff is amazing I recommend it if you are looking to go bare metal.

oh and if you look in the picture with the hood you can see the new cowl section with no vents all covered with fresh filler and a nice coat of primer.

What brand of paint stripper did you use?
