74 Truck 360

Been looking for a core and I found a 74 360, trans and divorced transfer case out of a Power Wagon, I have to take it all. The engine doesnt run, but turns over and the owner has no idea the last time it did run.

What is your opinions on a value for this, and if it would make a good core. Also I assume I can convert the trans over to work in a car by adding a different output shaft and tail housing correct?

That is exactly the setup in my 74 Power Wagon although my grille is newer. You can swap the tail housing and output shaft setup or just trade somebody for a car tranny. I practically stole this truck but the tranny was in pieces in the bed when I got it.... The transfer case is a stout unit and should be in demand on the crawler sites.... Lowball and go from there say $200-$300.
